I'm so happy because I had a math test today (which I hardly studied for) but I did so well! During the test, I was STRESSING because it was so difficult and I'd hardly reviewed. There were 3 questions on scientific notation (I'm taking Algebra 1 right now) and I forgot to review those altogether, so I just made up my own formulas and it (somehow?) worked! Every quiz, my math teacher posts some data on the assignment, and the lowest grade was a 64, and the highest was a 95. This is the first quiz that NOONE has gotten a 100 on! But during Flex (basically study hall), I checked my grade and I got a... 95!!!!! I'm so happy! To celebrate, my family is eating out for dinner, and as of writing this, my mom is on the way to pick it up.
Anyways, this is my first blog entry and it was so much fun to write! I'll try to write another tomorrow, but I also have an English assignment due tomorrow, a spelling bee (which I've barely studied for) on Thursday, an English quiz on Thursday, and a few assignments on Friday.
This is gonna be a short entry 'cause I have to go to bed in like, five minutes, but today was SO eventful! I didn't write yesterday because I was too busy practicing Ukrainian, studying for my ELA vocab quiz, and preparing for the spelling bee. Today was the spelling bee, and my stomach felt like a washing machine the entire time! Me and a few of my friends sat together, and it was sad when they got out. Whenever one of my friends had a hard time with their word, it made me feel so sick and nervous like I was them at the microphone. Anyways, I got out with one of the words that isn't on the list--salvageable--because I dropped the 'e' in salvage 'cus I thought you were meant to do that. I got...4th place! I felt super disappointed that I didn't get top 3, but getting 4th out of 27 people is still super impressive! Unfortunately, I got out right in time to take my ELA vocab test (which I hoped I would miss) and I hardly studied for it. Regarding the winners, apparently, the kid who won this round has like a long winning streak. He's super smart and he's also in my Algebra 1 class.
. Speaking of algebra, I was having so much trouble with the problem sheet we got today, so I gotta lock in so I get a good highschool reccommendation.
Finally, after school I had a trial dance class from 6:30 to 8:30. I love dance a lot! I've been doing ballet for 8 years now, and I'm starting Modern classes on Saturday!
As for homework, I rushed to finish my math and ELA work so I could come to write this blog entry, so you're welcome!
Oh, and yesterday I had a band concert! I play percussion (even though I've been a cellist since 4th grade). This is because my school doesn't offer orchestra, but the regional highschool does, so I'm gonna continue orchestra when I go to highschool. I gotta go to bed now, but I'll talk all about highschool electives and reccommendations tomorrow! Also, I'll try to make an About Me page of my site, so you can learn more about me (duh!) :)
Hey, y'all! I haven't written in a LONG time, but I'm back now! There's a lot that's happened since I was gone, and here's just a quick rundown of that:
